Sotiyo becomes Osun NSCDC Commandant

The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, has appointed Sotiyo Igbalawole Emmanuel as the new commandant of its Osun State Command.

Sotiyo’s deployment was approved by Dr Ahmed Abubakar, the Commandant General of the NSCDC recently.

A statement by Adeleke Kehinde, the spokesperson of Osun NSCDC on Thursday disclosed that Sotiyo is succeeding Dr Adaralewa Michael who has been promoted to the rank of Assistant Commandant General, ACG.

The statement states further, “Commandant Sotiyo hails from Abeokuta, Ogun State, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Master Degree in Public Administrations from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun state.

“He has attended a remarkable array of courses both home and abroad, establishing him as an expert in security architecture and leadership.”
