Labule clocks 10, opens new outlet

 Labule, a proudly Nigerian Quick Service Restaurant that prides itself in offering “Correct Naija Cooking” clocked ten recently.

Its parent company, Roots Foods Ltd, marked the occasion with the opening of a new outlet in Ikorodu, one of the sprawling commercial and industrial centres in Lagos state.

At the outlet opening event which signposted the 10th anniversary of the QSR brand, the Managing Director and Chief Chef of the company, Mrs. Binta Adisa, emphasized that “At Labule, we are dedicated to promoting Nigerian cuisine and culture”; adding that, “Our expansion to Ikorodu is a testament to our passion for delivering authentic and nourishing meals to our customers”.

Speaking about the new outlet and its location, Adisa said, “Ikorodu is a special place for me and my husband, as we started our lives here. We have seen the area grow and develop, and we believe our brand has a role to play in its development. Our customers in Ikorodu can now enjoy the same quality and excellence that Labule is known for”.

The QSR Amazon attributed the company’s success to its loyal customers and dedicated team.

In her words, “Our customers have been with us for 10 years, and our staff have been instrumental in our growth. We are grateful for their support and hard work”.

The Ikorodu outlet is the fourth by the company in its 10 years of operation; and it promises to cater to the diverse culinary needs of the community, offering a wide range of local delicacies.

Going down memory lane, Adisa stated, “For us, one major thing that kept us going is the passion that I have for food and the business generally. I am someone who loves to eat and cook. It gives me joy when I see people eat and they are happy. Besides, the loyalty of our customers has also been of great help. It would interest you to know that some customers have been with us for 10 years. We also appreciate our team of dedicated staff who have been there for us. One key thing that has also contributed is my background in accounting, which helped a great deal in running the business well. Notwithstanding, we have had challenges such as finance, manpower, and some of the issues associated with the volatile nature of the Nigerian economy”.

And, looking into the future, she further submitted, “We are not just a restaurant, we are ambassadors of Nigerian cuisine and culture. We will continue to innovate and deliver exceptional dining experiences to our customers”.
